Today's trivia item. Just bought a Lucas SFT-462 foglight to add to the pile of bits which is TC9477 at present. Brand new in Lucas box! Amazing. Where had it been all these years? Don't give up, that elusive part you are seeking may be out there somewhere. Mike Card PS Thanks to all those who helped with TC hood window dimensions. TC8233 now has its new hood finished and fitted, plus of course side screens and half-tonneau.

I always have my fog light lit. I use it as a driving light. I t makes
the car a bit more visible. I will probably install a light on my MGA
for the same purpose.

Ken, et al,

I also use my fog light as a driving light during the day. The nice thing is
the unit is switched on and off with the ignition when wired correctly.
Eliminates the dead battery 'cause I forgot the lights were on problem.

I have a 1980 MGB I drive with the lights on in the daytime. Sometimes I
forget to turn the things off...I guess it is not as technologically
advanced as the '47 TC!
