Hi Whitworth Heads,

A friend wants to re-size the big ends of his XPAG rods. Does anyone know
the ID specification for this? Had mine done long ago and couldn't find a
record.

Cheers, Peter

Peter:

The proper rod size is:

48.67MM
1.9159 in.

My old Vandervell book says:
Housing diameter 1.9157"/48.658 mm
1.9162"/48.671 mm.
If you want tolerances.

XPAG Rods

Hi Whitworth Heads,

I want to commend Skip Kelsey and Bob Grunau for their exemplary performance
and demonstration how our T-ABC list can perform with the delivery of
valuable information, not invectives, opinions, and convictions..

Within two hours they responded with obscure yet vital data on the
dimensions for re-sizing the big ends of XPAG connecting rods. The
machinist was flabbergasted!

Good work, Skip and Bob!

Cheers, Peter

As I beleive others have said previously, what we need to do is insure the
lives of M. Grunau and kKelsey for several hundreds of thousands of $.(US,
of course).
