Well done Clive, you've put this one to bed in masterly fashion!

Those of us that are about to make hoods now have all necessary
dimensional data backed up with solid documentation.

All I need to know now is whether to give TC4427 a double or a
single window and whether to use black or fawn!! Who can put this
one to bed?

Not me! I'll stick to providing the dimensions...... But........

My choice considerations would be:-

1. that the two window version looks more interesting, whilst
2. the single window gives a marginally better view.
3. A very early car would predispose me to the twin window through
concience.
4. a mid to later car is no contest - larger single.
and

5. colour would be chosen to complement the paint/trim colours,
except again early car would be black from a sence of duty!.


Before this one goes completely to bed however - what of the very
wide windows shown on two USA cars in the recent group TC photo
on the list? Two other cars with smaller windows seem to conform
to our known dimensions - so was there a special export model
hood for the TC, applicable to countries with wider rear view
continental horizons than the narrow English lane?
