Please don't tease me. I'm still lurking and saving and am a year or two away
from being able to try to aquire the Dream car I've Longed for all these
years.

However, I have not exactly been deluged by long lines of anxious buyers
waving fistfuls of dollars at me for the privilege of rearranging the
old girls lift-the-dot studs so that next trip up to Canada may have to
wait for awhile.

Don't lurk.
Go talk to your friendly banker.
You can't be a good American if you aren't deeply in debt.
There is no time like the present.
These are the good old days!
Into the lion's mouth Eric!

I am a good American and have the debts to prove it, My roof needs
replacing, I'm dating a woman, (which should be tax deductible, I think) I'm
also in a union job that has a contract that expires in June. So I have to
build up a strike fund to pay for the woman. -er, I mean the mortgage should
I have to go without a paycheck or three.
Of course, I have an MGB I'll sell when I can, and an MGA I don't plan on
selling ever, though I might trade it towards a TC some day if I have too
And hey, you forgot

You only live once. (okay, not according to some religions).
Live for the present, for tomorrow never comes.
I laugh at danger.
It only hurts when I laugh.
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
(Well, you started the animal thread).

Dear All,
Just been out for a quick blast in TC1459. Getting dark, wind and rain, wipers going. Wonderful. Certainly brightens the eyes after a week at work!
Cheers,
Mark

Dear MGVADICK;

You have to go to Yahoo and unsubscribe there.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mg-tabc/join may get you in,
but you will have to submit your password. Once in edit
your membership to "No email." That will get you off the
mailing list but will still allow you to read all the
messages on line if you wish.

Fred-
Do look into powder coating, an issue I seem to remember having been
discussed in group mail.
TC 0735's wheels AND brake drums have been thus coated, and have lasted
rather a long time. It looks great (0735's PO chose black), and appears to be
quite durable.
