unknown reflectors with pods

OK, Here's one for the collective knowledge: In my misc. boxes that came with my TC, I found a pair of reflectors in cast zinc pods. The pods are like a bulbous teardrop shape that is flat on the bottom with a slight upward curve to this bottom mounting surface. there are two tapped holes on this bottom surface for mounting. Both are flaking original appearing black paint. No ID numbers, just "Lucas refex Made in england" on the reflectors. There is a chrome ring with rubber gasket around the outside of the reflector. Any guesses on this bitterly cold evening? Thanks Mark McCombs 49 TC EXU
