Monte Carlo Rally

Post by Peter Pleitner » Thu Jan 06, 2000 11:19 am

Hi Whitworth Heads,

I just got a call from a friend who is co-driving London to Monte Carlo in a
1960 Alfa. He said this year seems unusual because three T-Types are
registered, a TA and two TCs. He races a TD here in the "States". Anyone
know who the TA and TC drivers are? T-ABCers by any chance?
BTW I got the invite to co-drive but conflict became serious pain and I'm
still suffering. Sympathy for me from anyone??

Cheers, Peter

Do not know the others, but one TC is Brian Litchfield from near Guildford.
he bought a very nice car, then almost rebuilt parts of it, including an
engine done to racing standards (which cost two-thirds of what my second TC
recently cost me!). I'm keeping everything crossed 'cos he is using my
tapered half-shafts - nothing is guaranteed to last for ever, but at least
he has not got any splines to come loose!
