Update from Jim

Post by fdshade » Sat Jul 12, 2014 9:47 am

Welcome to our new member    gary krukoski    garykrukoski@yahoo.com   who writes   I'm currently restoring several MG's. I have recently acquired a large group of MG TC parts. I'm not at this time doing a TC. So I plan on selling some of the surplus parts.   ==============   Jim Shade

UPDATE FROM JIM

Post by fdshade » Thu Oct 02, 2014 12:25 pm

Welcome to our newest member Mike Long myriley4@bellsouth.net   who wrote:    Recently purchased MGTC and will likely need HELP!  I have been an old car guy since buying my 1930 Ford at age 13 in 1960. That coupe is still in my garage. In 1970 I started my 37 years at Firestone as a tire engineer, and started searching for a cheap MGTC. I found instead a "similar but derelict" 1937 Riley Sprite which rechanneled my TC passion into the acquisition of another 3 - 1937 Rileys!  Along the way, a Bugeye Sprite and a Sunbeam Tiger also took up residence w/me. Finally this year, through my association w/Bob Satava in Ohio, my hobby came full circle with an MGTC purchase .....reg #33 by Bob in 1964. I'm also blessed with a great family and my lovely wife Carol, who actually seems to understand the indelible grip the car hobby has on her husband!   ==== AND that's all for now from

There is bragging among this group?  Total news to me.  I have,up to now, accepted tales of clanking balls, rods and screws as solemn revelations of automotive truths.

It's hard not brag when we have the iconic British car. Lessers, such as Triumph owners for example, envy us. Or should.   Ron     -----Original Message-----
