I have been an MG- TC enthisiast since I was 13 years old. That was many
years ago. I purchased My MG in 1979 as a rolling chassis. The body was in
two pieces and several boxes. I constructed a new ash frame and retacked
the steel
after prepping and epoxy coating the inside surfaces. The car is basicilly
completed with the exception of final alignment of hood to body and grill
shell. The grill shell had at one time wear from the hood side and a braze
repair was made but slight distortion is evident. Any knowledge of a good
original? Mine is good and could be made first rate in the hands of a
capable person. Know who he might be? I have a rare Arnolt lever action
radiator cap and a really nice Moto-Lita steerling wheel. I know they are
not original but look really nice on the car. Always looking for tips and
restoration help. I have restored several vehicles over the years including
a Lotus Elan +2S, Bugeyes,a couple of MGBs Jaguar E type, Lamborghini Urraco
and two Panteras. I'm currently finishing a '48 Fiat Topolino, '32 Ford
Pick-up Street Rod and the TC. I can honestly say the TC has been the most
difficult to get right. I would be most intersted in your eMail list.

We now have pledges for 111 T-ABC car adges. Austin Baer is working on a
vendor, with some help from Joe Bernert. I have sent a confirmation message
to all members who have ordered badges. If you want a badge and did not
receive a confirmation notice please let me know.

that's it for now from Jim Shade in not-so-sunny California; raining this
week and the top of my TC has been removed and is stored in the garage - so I
must drive my wifes' car.

the badge artwork is coming along very well... thanks for your patience. One
thought that occurred to me (a few of you were interested in originals, or

paper OR acetate (as well as to make decals) could be used to simulate the
badge in 8-1/2 x 11 format for framing. I've contacted a couple of people
that have them, and I'm going to make a couple of prints to proof the artwork
