Whoops, Sandy
Sometimes, vintage blokes hit the wrong key-sorry, so let me finish
Sandy, sorry to disagree with you but I would not deal with MOMA under any
situation! It is Margaret, not Maureen and this 'person' is the one who
asked me 'what makes you an expert' when she returned the instruments for
TC6391 painted in a BMW light tan rather than the metallic green! Then, she
had the gall to charge me $ 100 for a special color match after nipping me
for $1000. I could bore you with 1/2 hour of shrift I got. A couple of
years ago there was a thread about the correct color which John Marks sorted
out for us as I am certainly not an expert, but having four T types had some
experience with the proper color of the instruments.
I know the rule 'never say anything about anyone unless it is positive', but
this experience with MOMA was the only nasty and unpleasant M.G. dealing I
have had since the middle of the last century!
Tom, May I suggest you try Nisonger, APT or John Marks in England, before
you get snarled up in New Mexico.
Cheers!
