DO 1049 off list

Hi I need some information to look at a patent that was applied for by
BMC or Morris Motors for a Gerald Palmer design for a folding
windscreen. This was fitted to design numbers DO1048 and DO1049
(pictures MG THE UNTOLD STORY page 60) which were proposed replacements
for the MG Midget TC date approx 1952-1953.
This was not an MG design but a Morris design which never went beyond
this stage. The MG design eventually became the MGA.
Hoping that someone can narrow the search.
