intended), in my search for clipper blue "wing" piping. Can anyone reveal thier

Tom,

Why not consider buying any color piping and take your clipper blue paint code to your paint supplier and he can make vinyl dye to match. The one I use here in Florida is called SEM. I have used it for over ten years on my XJS seats and just now I plan to recolor them once more, They are leather but it works equally well with vinyl.

Tom,
When I had my TC painted, and it came to doing the piping, as I recall, I
was able to get an additive at the paint supplier that made the paint
flexible an just added that to a small amount of the body color and used
that on vinyl piping thereby getting an exact match to the body color.
Hope it's still available.

Another alternative would be to have a local upholtery shop make you some piping. My TC is painted in non-standard colors. I took a paint sample to the upholstery shop and we found some vinyl that was a close match for the color and he sewed up the piping for me.

All:
Any auto paint supplier should have flex additive. It's normally used to
make the paint flexible when painting flexible bumpers. Works a treat.

Hi Tom,

As others have suggested, vinyl flex paint is very easy to use with the 'Preval' mini sprayers, and I deliberately chose a very slightly different shade bue colour for the piping (sprayed over ivory piping from Moss), as the odds of the piping originally matching the actual colour of the car is infintestimal.
