Dear Jorgen and others who have expressed negative opinions on how our great
natural tragedy in the Gulf Coast was handled. This is a forum for sharing
information on our beloved MG-T cars. Keep your God-damned political
opinions to yourselves! They don't belong in this forum! There was
obviously some poor planning and delayed reaction by our elected officials,
but we as a democratic society will deal with it, either now by pressure on
officials, donations to charitable organizations providing help, or in the
next elections. We need help, not snide criticisms. I would like to remind
Jorgen that we Americans sacrificed a great deal to help free his country
from the Nazis and to recover from that very sad man-made tragedy. Alaska
has had natural disasters in the past, floods, extremely large earthquakes
and tsunamis, volcanic eruptions. I would hope that when we experience the
next one we won't be criticized for our failures to respond in the best
manner.
