Hello guys,
I wounder how the cable from the starter from my MPJG engine runs to the
battery.
I know all the positions of the clips (correct me please if I am wrong):
- special clip on a bolt which fits the starter to the bellhouse
- 1 normal clip fitted at the inside of the chassis between starter and
master brakecilinder
- 4 normal clips at the bottom of the near-side chassisrail (two are fitted
with bolts which are also used for the exhaust system)
This information came with a set of clips which were sold once by the
Octagon Club.
What I don't know:
- what is the position of the cable in relation to the chassis: below the
chassis or inside the rail? In line with the chassisrail or at the ouside
below the running boards?
- how does the cable cross the exhaust system?
- how does the cable cross the master brake cilinder?
- where exactly is the special clip at the starter mounted, at the head of
the bolt by the starter or at the other side of the bolt at the bell
housing?
