Dunno where you guys get the idea that Moss superchargers have
dried up. I saw one displayed on their stand at Silverstone last week
all ready to bolt onto your XPAG. Price will make your pocket dry up.

Peter, if what Viv says is true (no offence Viv, I am sure you are
right that you saw one at Silverstone)and it;s the one you want,
then don't try to buy from Moss U.S., just buy from Moss UK and
enquire about delivery to U.S.
Might also be worth speaking to Carl at Moss Bradford to find out
what the score is here.

Methinks that strict public liability laws are to blame for non-availability
of this sort of add-on in the USA.

Joe I doubt liability laws will apply in this case as Moss under
Jackson Racing manufacture many supercharger systems for many Japanese cars who
with 3 spark plug wires disconnected go faster than a worked out "Blown" T
series car.

This is not true. Moss USA just came out with a bolt on SC for the Sprite/Midget....and will have xpag units available again soon.....only the Octagon CC refuse to sell to the USA because of some misguided advice they have received from their insurance company. Thats a pity.

Strict liability laws have nothing to do with it, except of course if the thing should explode while sitting on ones bench and kill someone.

Octagon CC also included Canada in their no sell policy. Wrote a strong
letter of complaint a year or so ago which was published in the
Bulletin. Still no action. In North America the only real advantage to a
fairly expensive membership is access to a good selection of spares. The
Bulletin by itself is not worth it .Terry you are their NA west coast
representative- shake someone up and tell them to find a new insurance
agent or company that has some understanding of what is reality. Terry

I have tried to talk some sense to Harry but he won't listen....folks on the board have to do it. I think the Bulletin is worth the dues but don't know how long I can keep up all these club memberships now that I'm retired........The MGCC's "Safety Fast" is a complete waste except for the various Registers news......we need Paddy Wilmer back. What's happening with the Club's "new office flat" is a total scandal and should be stopped. Reminds me of when a certain member lead the MGCC off on an invasion of the US....that got nipped in the bud real fast.
