When I checked my Mom's name I found her as well as my nephew--Pat--you were in there several times as well. When I tried to email them to remove me, they returned an email giving me some garbage about mailing them and they will do as I ask. I returned the email and told them to remove me immediately--I'm not wasting a stamp on them. I haven't heard back yet. I will check in a couple of days. Bob, There is really nothing new about this. The ability to look you up has been available on both Google and Yahoo for several years. Face it, your privacy no longer extends to your published phone number, your address, even your date of birth. And for a few bucks, just about everything else is available to anyone willing to pay. Your mortgage is a public record along with your property taxes and any arrears. Same for your car(s). Your personal credit record costs $9.95. It goes on....surely you've seen the internet ads for your high school yearbook photo? Point is, of the 280,000,000+ people in this country, who really cares about you beyond your friends? Identity theft??? The organized crooks have far simpler ways (you did obliterate and shred all of those credit card offers you've been getting in the mail, didn't you? Or, were they simply tossed in the trash you left at the curb for pick up?). _Peter
