Hello sir,
An other alternative is to modify an original TA-generator. You can take
away the thirth brush.

Hello Ray,
I have a TA and my father a TC, so I don't know for sure if a TB has a three
bush dynamo.
But if so, it can't be a problem to modify a three bush TB-dynamo to a two
brush. It is a simple modification, which can be remodificated to a three
bush dynamo.
Are you sure a TA-dynamo has other dimensions than on a TB or TC? A alway's
thought on the outside only the stamped number was different.
Greetings, John

AW: [mg-tabc] hooking ... (up a generator, what did you think?)
Hallo Ray,
I heard that the TA dynamo with three brush can be switched for
Winter/Summer driving. Winter you need more charge rate for the battery. The
selection is done manually. TC dynamo with two brush got a better voltage
regulator. I never had a chance to have look at any TA regulator. What is
the set up in your car ?
