Post by MGTC1946@aol.com » Tue May 24, 2005 6:01 am

it has been determined that the sqeeking is much louder when listened to at the dip stick hole. has anyone got any ideas? motor is back out of car and will be disassembled again today. my friend who ownes a salvage yard assures me that he can arrrange tc 1612 into a neat cube that will make a nice but slightly oily end tabel.i am begining to take his offer seriously. charlie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Charlie, I totally understand your frustration and I know everyone on this list does as well. Don't despair, you will eventually prevail over this squeaky engine. I suppose in some perverse way this is part of the joy of ownership - not the frustration so much as the delight in your ultimate success.
