'GAWD... Did he say RED LEAD? Off on a tangent... Red Lead may now be considered a social bogey, but I confess to favour its use in the re-timbering of my toys If it's good enough for old boat builders, then it's good enough for me. It's the ONLY stuff (even for coachbuilt cars). digitaldon has been hoarding a coupla' gallons for AGES, for one of his boats that has cotton/red lead caulked seams. 'They'... the experts... claim it's harmful and leads to brain damage. Hey Reddo........... yer not supposed to EAT the stuff. 'They' are probably right... as witness my scribblings. doubt it. digitaldon strongly suspects it's the single malt. He likes that Talisker, (for medicinal purposes only, natch).
