Hi, does anyone know why some of the brass damper caps on a SU carb have a breather hole in them and others do not? I have a set of carbs without any dampers and want to install dampers but do not have a clue which type to use.

Hugh
Here is a link to Bill Bressington. He is the owner of Midels in Sydney. If
anyone can answer questions about SU's he is the one. He has been in business
since 1948.
