There is no easy way to answer the question because of all the variable. It depends on the size of your battery, the condition of your battery (including age), how much amperage draw (which will vary widely depending how how much cranking it takes to start it, and how long it sits between uses. The amps draw by your car varies as well. It doesn't take that much juice to run the ignition and I imagine the fuel pump will draw more than the ignition. Older fuel pumps can draw up to 3 amps. The newer solid state pumps will draw much less. With a fully charged battery, headlights off and jump starting it, I would think you could go several hundred miles on a battery in good condition. Your brake lights will draw down the battery as well. I can draw 6 amps off my TD battery for more than 8 hours (to run a bi pap machine). That is a pretty big draw for 8 hours. The only thing you can really do is experiment. (and keep a spare battery and jumper cables with you ) Mike
