Silentbloc Bushing on Rear Springs

I am installing new rear springs on a TC I am restoring. The springs
came with silentbloc bushings installed in the front eyes. One spring
slids very easily onto the front hanger pin - about a .010"
clearance.
The other is so tight it can only be driven on. What is the right
clearance? Do I need to do something to tighten up the loose front
eye? If so, any suggestions?
When the springs are loaded (have not yet done this) and the front
eye
nut tightened is the inner sleave of the silentbloc bushing supposed
to rotate at all? I assume that the outer sleave is not supposed to
rotate.

The inner sleeve should be a press fit on the pin. Once the nut is
tightened it should not rotate on the pin. The very small rotation of the
spring eye relative to the pin should be absorbed by the rubber.

Hi Guy,
The inner sleeve is held in position by tightening the nut. The inner
sleeve will not rotate after tightening. The TC 0448 left side was tight fit
and right side was loos fit. I did clean the shaft and applied some grease
before fitting.
