Tappet cover cap
G'day
Just to put the cat amongst the doves ( cannot spell pigeons ) .I fitted the
olde bread tin tappet cover today and after a 4 hour search through tins and
tins of s##t I found 4 different caps to fit the cover . One is of a brass
finish , one chrome, another alloy, the other does not fit the TC cover as
it has clips on the inside and rotates onto two pegs inside the neck of the
cover ( TD or TF )
Witch is correct ?
( the brass one looks great )

The ones I have are as you described , one is plated and one is not,it is
just brass with the oil types on it. The non TC one is plain Alluminium with
no oil types on it. The fourth one has an enamel type finish with the oil
types on it .possably Woolsey 4/44.
