Petrol tank attachment threads

Does anyone know what the size and the thread in a TA's petrol tank fittings are? I am replacing the fuel lines together with the corroded fuel line adaptors which fit into the threaded tank orifices, but the new replacement fittings are not compatible, either in diameter or apparently in thread. I would be happy to re-tap the tank if I knew what the thread on the new fittings are and if I were able to find the correct tap. The suppliers of the new fittings are unable to help with the needed info and if any owner reading this can help, I shall be most grateful.

Told: The thread size for the T-ABC fuel tank fittings is 3/8 BSP ( British Standard Pipe). Fred Kuntz TC 5087
