Hi All, I'm looking for suggestions...I have installed a new (not rebuilt) generator and control box on my car and still the ignition light glows. Battery cables are fine. Leads between the box and generator are fine. Both are properly grounded. Could it be a bad battery? What are the chances that the control box is mal-adjusted? Thanks, Mike

Mike, you might have to flash the field on your new generator to get it to build up..... Hi Mike So if you have the wires disconnected, and a voltmeter across the terminals, will the generator come up to 15 volts. I would think the 12.5 at the battery after it is running, is just the battery voltage.
