Magic Midget Pub

Post by joecurto@aol.com » Sat Feb 05, 2005 1:21 pm

I was at the Magic Midget Pub in Abingdon in the late 70's and the owner or manager was pretty enthusiastic about the MG stuff as well as the MG nutters who came in to visit, but I heard that ownership/managers changed and they were pretty indifferent, lets hope that what was there is not tossed into the bin under a newer owners. I think I still have a flyer from there regarding their opening Joe Curto [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

The Golden Cross used to be a MG hangout, too. When we spent an evening there, the ex-owner took us out to see his 1.5 L. ,"Maybelle" I believe, and his Downton "B". The food was really good, the folks could not have been friendlier. I just hope to find it the same!
