CONFUSION!

Post by Roger Furneaux » Tue Dec 10, 2019 7:53 am

hi Guys - I have always opted to receive all messages on a daily basis: this has worked well for 20 years in my case (where DOES the time go???) so I have had the options of replying, ignoring but keeping, or deleting. Most of those Q&As are lodged in my old XP laptop, but at least if they are going to be in an archive, all is not lost! Then the Forum on the website came along, which I very rarely look at (it seems to be questions posed and mainly answered by Steve Simmons. Some of the Qs are duplicated on the mailing list, so I always wondered why we needed both... And now of course we have the new thing, which I signed up for, got confirmation email, then - NOTHING. Early days I suppose, but one day soon Yahoo is going to go belly-up, and then what??? ocTagonally RogerDevon, Olde England, very wet and miserable!

I'm sure I did everything right, got the confirmation email back. found the list groups (there are 1000s , including one for MPJG-engined TAs - two members, but why, they should join us...and one for Volvo-engined MGs!) Ours has 131 members and 45 messages in December, but I have not seen any of them! Roger

Roger,  Make sure the new groups email address is on your email contacts safe sender list.  Also might check your spam folder if messages maybe going there.
