No. 1.0 is super fine pitch in one metric size, fine in another, and standard in others. Fineness of pitch is dependent on size that goes with it. _________________________________________________
No, 1.25 is Standard Metric, 1.0 is Standard Metric Fine. The onemillimetre thread in the block is a problem as it limits the bolts that can be used but I've done it before with good bolts and some steel short strips to line things up. I think it's actually a bit safer than it looks ! I'll let you know if it isn't !! Are the 4 bell housing bolts and the tapped holes in the block strong enough? It doesn't look much . I need to avoid any use of the holes in the alloy sump, as I will need to rotate the engine, and remove it. Any advice welcome.
