    Well, we need to know which Midget , can be anything from J2,PA,TA, TC, TD,TF or?? Not likely uni-body modern Sprite/Midget.

    I am afraid I wholly disagree both with the idea and with its result : how many horrible Bentleys Le Mans or Brooklands Riley Specials from the 40s/50s do you know trying to look like vintage racers ? I agree not many of us (if any ?) can buy a genuine blower Bentley (I can t) but we can enjoy driving our original T-types.     thanks for the feedback. I put the photograph on the group just of general interest as it parked on my doorstep. Did not see the owner so don't know any more about it, other than it is registered as a 1970's 'MG Abingdon Special'.a car that I suspect started off as a Midget. If I see it again with the owner I will have a chat. Meanwhile I will stick with the simple lines of my T Types even if they don't have the fancy bits and chrome wire wheels.
