TD TF HORNS

The horns on the TF quit honking on  our recent trip to GoF West in AZ. I've tried adjusting the nut in the center but all I get is a low growl......any suggestions?

Dear old Badger's solution would be to hit it with a rock. Not such a bad

idea actually as "Stuff" can get in and deaden the diaphram movement.

Try a sharp blow or two with a hammer on the casing, or a rock for the

purists amongst us !

Often-not necessarily in MGs- the nut is to one side, most often to the left, but on TCs for example it s to the right.  First thing to do when horns don t stop honking is to gently suggest to the nut that the horn button should be released.  Stern language is sometimes needed.  If that doesn t work, whack the nut on the head with the King Dick wrench in the toolkit.  That will stop the honking, but is a technique fraught with other hazards, a topic for another thread.
