It makes sense to me since if installed this way it gets crushed and actually doesn t do a damn thing. Hi Gene,
If you have original sprocket then use thrower as Bob says in photo.
For my adjustable cam sprocket kit, do not use the thrower. It is not necessary as there are a lot of holes to help sling the oil for lubrication.
