TC "Barn Find"

Post by motionwear » Sun Mar 03, 2019 9:05 am

I came across a TC that's been in storage since 1961, one family owned since the early 1950s.  Midwest USA location.  Family is now ready to part with it. Mostly complete, good candidate for a solid restoration.  Matching numbers, price likely will be reasonable. If you have serious interest in doing a TC restoration project and are looking, contact me off line.  I don't think it would be too much work to export it. Tom Wilson Zionsville IN USA

Hi Tom, I don't need another project but it would always be good to see some pictures of a genuine barn find if you have some. Regards Peter

Here's a barn find I bought 10 years ago here in US and recently sold in exactly same condition.  Lots of surface rust but no rust through whatsoever.  A good bones car to do a complete resto on.

Something of interest would be to catalog the modifications these mummies are found with....a museum How They Were Used when they really were just Cheap and Cheerful sports cars.
