Propshafts UJ rebuild

Hi All,
I will be installing new front and rear UJ bearings, cups and spiders to the propshaft fo TA1957 soon. I ve not done this before. Could someone confirm if any joint compound should be used on the cups before they are driven into the yokes. I assume squeezing
the cups in flush with a vice is best with final driving using a drift to permit circlips to be fitted. Is there a risk of over driving the bearing cups?

Jeff, There is a good video on YouTube about replacing u-joints on a MGB but the process is the same for your TA.
