wood bow above windshield

Post by Benny Grumer » Tue Aug 21, 2018 7:05 am

I am planning to install the top on my TC, I noted that the curvature of the wood is not the same as the curvature

of the top bar of the windshield. The edges of the wood is about 6 mm above the windshield at the pins , is this common to all wood for the front top bow?

Thanks

Benny

Hi Benny,  It was the case with my TC wood bow, also my TD and TF wood bows.   A slight downward pressure at the pins , with the contact initially in the center, makes for a very positive seal.
