Fw: [mg-tabc] Frame Level - now TB drawing

Post by jeffrey townsend » Thu Aug 16, 2018 1:52 am

Hi All,

I had a message to say my email below was not delivered to the group. I asked if a line drawing similar to the TC one is available for the TB and if so could it be circulated?

Regards,

Jeff

I have a very large print of that diagram on my wall. Unfortunately it does not show whether or not the frame is supposed to sit level. - Steve Simmons, TC8975 On August 15, 2018 5:21:32 AM "Roger Furneaux roger.46tc@gmail.com [mg-tabc]" mg-tabc-noreply@yahoogroups.com> wrote:

hi Steve - so much depends on the condition of the springs, and the amount of fuel in the tank would affect it as well. My guess is that it should be horizontal: now some while back Bob G was offering workshop wall sized reprints of the factory line drawing of a TC, that would surely show enough detail. How about doing some more Bob? ocTagonally Roger On Wed, Aug 15, 2018 at 4:48 AM, Steve S mail@mgnuts.com [mg-tabc] mg-tabc-noreply@yahoogroups.com> wrote:   A fellow has asked on a couple of forums with no success, does the TC frame sit perfectly level?  My own car sits at a very slight upward angle toward the front, but they are original springs and I'm pretty sure the rear is sagging more than the front. Here's his question on the TABC Forum if anyone wants to answer directly: http://www.mg-tabc.org/forum/ viewtopic.php?f=2&t=922&p= 5293#p5293 - Steve Simmons, TC8975
