A BODGE, somebody probably buggered up the original shaft standard male thread and fixed IT with a tapped hole and bolt.

Original was a a flat washer and 5/8 ?? BSF nut and split pin.

BTW, this nut ion the end of the shaft should be TIGHT, then pinned.

Thanks for the feedback. Mine has an internal thread with the flange held on by a 5/6 BSF bolt.

Hi Bob,

Not a keyway, the flange has an internal spline which fits onto a spline

on the mainshaft secured by a thick washer and a split pinned castle nut.
