A couple weeks I received info regarding the clip which I incorrectly called a spring as several people pointed out. I have lost the email telling me where it went on the brake assembly. Could someone be so kind and sent that me again .

Hi Bruce, Please refer to Normans photo for the correct position of the brake light clip. I found this information very useful as this arrangement had eluded me for 35 years!!!! H Bruce,

The brake pedal has to springs. One connects the pedal to serve as a return spring and the other

Is connected to the brake light switch via the wire that you show on your post. The wire is attached to the pedal.
