Hi y'all,  I fitted a high level/intensity brake light and fitted a hydraulic switch screwed into a modified banjo bolt as in the attached pics. Made from 303 Stainless they are CNC machined to have a slightly thicker head to accomodate the M10 x 1.0  internal thread for a hydraulic switch.  Rather than do just the one, I did ten .. a couple have gone to friends so I have 7 left. Rather than wire the switch to solely operate the extra light, it's wired it to work in conjunction with the piece of bent brass in the standard item.  This is not the only way to go about adding a high level lightly any means but if anyone is interested in one these modified banjo bolts contact me off list.  TweedTC 0632Cambridge UK [img]https://xa.yimg.com/kq/groups/AGzIn_Dtf ... I have my hydraulic switch in the same location. The advantage is that you can use the stock wiring harness since it's only inches from the original switch. - Steve Simmons, TC8975 On 6/3/2018 2:47 PM, Madhu Paroor madhuparoor@gmail.com [mg-tabc] wrote:
Hi Tweed, One stupid question? why should one fix the Hydraulic pressure switch for brake light on the master cylinder ? I think it is better to fix the switch at the rear joint mounted on the differential ? I mean where you connect the left and right rear wheel cylinder pipes. The Light is mounted close to it !!! Why should one fiddle with the master cylinder? madhu 2018-06-03 13:43 GMT+02:00 Tweed lizandtweed@yahoo.co.uk [mg-tabc] mg-tabc-noreply@yahoogroups.com>: Hi y'all, I fitted a high level/intensity brake light and fitted a hydraulic switch screwed into a modified banjo bolt as in the attached pics.
