Do you possibly mean a C45N or C45NV? Dynamos are usually numbered first by the case diameter. C45 being 4.5 inches, C39 being 3.9 inches. The information I have is that a C45N can output a massive 11 amps.  Not sure about the ventilated version C45NV.  It may be slightly more.       From: mg-tabc-noreply@yahoogroups.com">'Robert F.Butson' email@robbut.plus.com [mg-tabc] Sent: Friday, May 4, 2018 5:12 AM To: mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com">mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com Subject: [mg-tabc] CN45

The (ventilated) C45NV is rated at 13 amps, which is same as most later C45 two brush units, like the TC's C45YV-3 see: http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/dynamo-safe-outputs.php ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: 'Dave Ahrendt' dave@dkahrendt.net [mg-tabc] mg-tabc-noreply@yahoogroups.com>To: Robert F.Butson email@robbut.plus.com>; "mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com" mg-tabc@yahoogroups.com>Sent: Friday, May 4, 2018, 4:14:41 AM PDTSubject: Re: [mg-tabc] CN45   Do you possibly mean a C45N or C45NV? If I recall correctly the totally t type website contains a downloadable version of the original correspondence course manual for overseas Lucas apprentices. Very simple to understand. All the data you need and how to check outputs etc. One document for dynamos another for cutouts, starter motor etc. Highly recommended.
