TA + XPAG steering arrangements

Dear All, My car is a TA with an XPAG engine (well XPAW actually). The engine has been raised at the front to align with the starting handle hole. The steering box is mounted on a welded-up bracket, I presume to raise it so that the steering column clears the starter motor. The movement of the drop-arm is restricted at one extreme by the sump and at the other by the road spring (the stops are set to avoid any actual contacts). I have uploaded some photos which I hope illustrates this. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/mg-tabc/photos/albums/1273899871 I believe the TA's turning circle was always quite large but I am wondering whether the adaptations that were made to accommodate the XPAW engine have restricted it still further. Is the steering movement limited in the way mine is on a TB or TC or on a more carefully adapted TA/XPAG? Many thanks. Graham
