Greetings Everyone TC3586 came to me sans dash knobs. I remember from my last TC, #0307 what they look like in original bakelite. Do any of the usual suspects supply the correct style knobs in bakelite? Are they even available injection molded in the correct shape? Moss and Abingdon Spares say "Original Type", but is that accurate? What is the general opinion as to the quality of what is available now? What say you? Thanks in advance for your anticipated responses. Martin Johnson Long Beach, California TC3586

What happened to TC 0307? Hi Pete It went to Australia in 1989. Two Aussies on a buying trip spotted it and made me a stunning cash offer I couldn't refuse. I keep watching the TABC roster to see if it shows up. I hope it will eventually. Particulars on the car were consistent with what is stated in "TC's Forever" as far as early production configuration: TB-style body etc. I had a very difficult time finding a matching pair of "flat" headlamp lenses in those pre-internet days. Original color was indeed black, however not a stitch of the original upholstery remained. Green crayon scribbled on the seat bases though, so I went with green all-leather upholstery as a best guess, and black Stayfast weather equipment and short tonneau. Come to think of it, I think Seabrook restored my ignition/light switch back in 1987. As far as TC3586 is concerned, I won't be selling it. I still miss TC0307. I leaned my lesson. Thanks! Martin

Thanks to all for your input. Appears that Seabrook is the man.
