Hate to stir up the pot on your remarks. But the last time I looked very
few on this list were or are native born (American Indians), I myself am 3rd
generation Italian decent I know many people in New York (the Melting Pot),
and work with many people across this country, and usually have positive
results. My point is that this is Americia and it was and is built on the
backs of legal and illegal immigrants, and while I too hate the blood suckers
that manipulate the system and do us wrong, you should reserve your comments
for AM Radio Talk shows, not this list.

To all,
I find myself compelled to endorse Joe's most recent addition to the
list. Let's not forget why we all belong to this group...the ongoing
enjoyment of these wonderful old automobiles.
Our group crosses all economic, political, and racial lines as it should.
I would like to think of this group as a bunch of gentlemen and goodwomen
that are united by a common theme. Most of the time we are, let's be
sensitive to each other, help when we can and share knowledge as others need.
OK, I'm off the soapbox for now. I wish everyone a good week, and
weekend!
My best, Ben Cordsen, TC 4260

I to agree with Joe. I'll be damned if I'm going to let all the pretty young
beauty's ride in the BMW's, Mercedes, Saab, Audi,& Corvettes( full of
foreign parts) convertibles without one of our great cars being among them
in the parade.
That's what freedom is all about. SO THERE, END OF CONVERSATION.
Duct tape is like the "FORCE", a light side, a dark side and holds the
universe together!

Amen to those sentiments Joe. Except that "this" is not America it is an international mailing list.

Ian I stand corrected and you are right I forget that this list goes far
beyond where the writer is standing.

Well guys,
After ploughing through pages of List waffle for the last few days, I
have decided that my most important task for tonight has got to be to
rush home from my office to check that both my TCs have the correct
dip stick.
Sleep well all of you and and remember....Beware of the Bullshit
Police!
Best regards to you all .....Viv

In all fairness, it all began with a perfectly legit question from someone
who thought he might have a non-XPAG dipstick and was worried that it
might be giving him inaccurate oil level readings.
