<<>> If my math is correct <<>> For the TC data from the Scientific Magazines listing 1 3/4 gallons for the cooling system: Imperial gallon = 5 US quarts=10 US pints 1 3/4 imperial gallon= 1.75*10 US pints= 17.5 US pints not 8.5 US pints. The TD's capacity from the Workshop Manual in Imperial size is listed as 10 1/4 Imperial pints. Which would be a little over 1 1/4 Imperial gallons. (10/8=1 2/8= 1 1/4) So the Scientific listing may be incorrect. The Imperial gallon is 25% bigger as 4 Imperial quarts* 1.25=5 US quarts. So 10.25 Imperial Gallons*1.25=12.8 US pints. So even the factory conversion is inaccurate. Blake Retired Mathamatician.

Oops, my label is wrong however the result is correct. "So 10.25 Imperial Gallons*1.25=12.8 US pints. So even the factory conversion is inaccurate." It should read 10.25 Imperial PINTS, not gallons. The result is still 12.8 US pints which is a half pint larger than the 12.3 pints listed in the factory Workshop Manual. Blake
