Straight-through pipe

Does converting a stock TC engine to straight-through (no muffler) pipe cause any potential problems over near and long-term use? Such matters as performance, tuning, etc., etc. Yes, I know it will be noisy. Any warnings I should heed? Thanks, Bill Andersen

Bill, Long term use of straight-pipe exhaust will cause TINNITUS, a ringing of the ear. As far as your TC's engine is concerened, as long as the pipe dia. and length remain stock, you should have plenty of back pressure needed. Chip Hellie --- Bill Andersen hbgandy@attbi.com> wrote:
