G'day Ken. Best of luck with this one mate! With too many years in the graphic arts field may I illustrate where I've seen numerous attempts fail at pairing duo-tones. Main blunder seems to be using colours from differing family's of colour. ie. warm creams matched with cool browns. Hard to describe but try to imagine creams from the ' red' side of the colour wheel sitting with browns with the same 'red' base. That works. So does creams with a greenish (or cool) hue with browns similarly located on thecolour wheel. That also works. (but not IMHO the strikingly clear contast used by C/Crackers) Mix from differing quarters and yeccch! Thoroughbred and Classic Car Magazine years a go featured a 'P' cream Cracker colour spread. Even allowing for the effect of printer's ink You'll see what I mean -- something that has to be seen to be appreciated - v. difficult to describe. Perhaps best way to illustrate is to have a gander at the weight of tonal contrast of colours on a radiator badge . Q.E.D. Jeff TA2828 TC3306

I like this shade and would like to use it to finally paint my car. Here is my problem the world and paint have change to meet environmental issues. My painter needs to use PPG and what is called a Enviro Base product. We are having troubles locating a paint code that uses this system. So if someone has painted their car recently a Dark British Green let me know the paint info I would appreciate it . The parts are sitting in a paint booth waiting for me . Bruce, If you were thinking the wire wheel colour,  the following is what I've found.  Wheels - SilverDITZ# DAR 2593 Duplicolor# FM-149 or T229 Moss # 220-560 rattle can  Plasticote 1587 (may soften existing paint    5.  DE1650 Cast Coat Aluminum - Duplicolor engine enamel    6.  At one time it was said that 1976 Ford Granada Silver was a match for the original color... Whether or not my '48 TC wires were (are) original paint or not, I'll never know but I had the occasion to acquire a new set of MWS wires and a set of Dunlop's recently for a very good price.  I was surprised to see that the MWS silver is so close in shade and sheen to the original wheels that it is impossible to tell a difference from 10 - 15 feet away.   At the end of the day, it boils down to
