Sorry for the late reply - just getting to my mail after a week out.
As to the old style bearing nut, I took one of the nuts to the auto
store and finally matched it up with a socket for a '86 Ford Bronco
4WD (it's for the front hubs on the Bronco). Get the one with the 4
tangs protruding from the opening, not the socket with the recessed
tangs as this one will not fit over the nut. Anyway, it is a perfect
fit and you can use it with a torque wrench (1/2 inch drive) to put
the nut back on according to specs.
