Sending Unit Leak Cure???

Post by Gene Gillam » Sat Jun 01, 2002 8:27 am

Listers, I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and mentioned the problems a lot of us have encountered with leaky sending units on the gas tank. He swears by a product called Gasoila: http://www.gsasupplyco.com/liquidsealants.html. He says this is used on the underground gas storage tanks to seal threads, on pumps, etc. He says he uses it on his Y-type whenever he has to put together a gas-tight connection. Has anyone else tried it? Reading this page definitely makes it sound as if it will do the trick. Gene Gillam 1949 MG TC --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
