G'day fellow nuts!
As the good Roger has explained, 5/16 drum nuts on a 3/8 stud-why ?
3/8 thin is his excellent suggestion. My adversion to rust has lead me to
use stainless and I have found that :
D.Middleton, Unit 5,Lady Ann Mills, Lady Ann Road, Batley, W. Yorks,WF17
0PS has them available at
44p each for 3/8BSF thin. He no longer lists the 5/16 flat head
countersunk that are the fixing screws on the drums, but one could enquire.
Tel: 01924 470 807, Fax: 01924 470 764. A fax with Visa # has the bits here
in Wisconsin in less than a week. He has a nice catalogue with all kinds of
BA, BSW, BSF plus metric and bike stuff.
Question: where does one find those 3/8 wide flange split washers that seem
to have been used under the drum pistachios-the green nuts.
Cheers,
Bill

Bill:
The split washers are hard to find. A 3/8 or 10mm wave washer works just fine.
