Seat and dash ??
I am putting the seats in my 1947 TC and it looks like the back of seat sets
too high (about 2 in. above the body work.) I have looked at a lot of pics
and they seem to very a lot ,can someone tell me what is right? Also I am
ready to put the center dash panel in and ordered the small bolts that hold
it in place from Moss thay came chromed, Sherrell shows that they should be
black what is right? It will have a black panel on wood dash.

Rolland
The bolt heads should be black, there are two different seat backs, on
my TC with the seat leaned back as far as possible it is about 1 1/4 to
1 1/2 higher than the body, on my TD it sets lower than the body, all
the way back

Rolland:
You can get the black bolts for the the instrument panel from Craig Seabrook.
Look in the list of parts suppliers & restorers for his address. Craig is a list

Try a black permanent marker pen on the Chrome heads as it will work and save money
and time. Or you can paint.

Bob & Group,
In my opinion, painting the instrument panel bolts is the only way to
go. We can supply a proper set painted black for $8. What a deal.
