What's Hiding Behind The Freeze Plugs?

Post by Gene Gillam » Wed May 15, 2002 5:13 pm

Listers, I've just pried out the freeze plugs on my TC and searched for, sort of found, and re-opened the passage behind the rear freeze plug on the raised casting on the manifold/carburetor side of the engine. I also drilled a passage behind the front freeze plug on the raised casting as suggested by John Seim and Skip Kelsey. I've taken photos (before and after) if anyone is interested - they're .jpg format and are in the 40K size range. I plan on sending them to Walter to see if he'll put them (and a small write-up) in the technical tips section - I know I was curious what I would be looking for when I got into this.
