Wiring Diagram "I'm not worthy!!!"""
Greetings one and all,
I came home tonight to find a bevy of wonderful emails all full of encouragement and wonderful advise and instructions directed at my troubles...Thank you so much , I am feeling much more optimistic and ready to face the little car once more. There seems to be the consciences that perhaps the coil is bad, even though it is brand new. But I will run through the whole list of suggestions and I am bound to make some headway...
And of course you can imagine that I had a big grin on my face as I opened the beautiful wiring diagram that was offered to me by none other than Bullwinkle (Blake)..who I have treated so roughly this last week..So, I must be the one dining on crow tonight. Those will really help. Blake, you are my hero....You may type to me in all capitals any time you like and I promise I will never say another word ever again!
I will keep you all posted as to how things shape up.
Thanks once more...

That has been known to happen.
Did anyone mention to check to see if the coil is correct for the ground
system? The TC is a positive ground car unless it has been converted.
The coil must be installed such that the wire "from the coil going to
the distributor" is connected to the + terminal of the coil. Or if the
coil is still marked as the originals, the CB (Contact Breaker)
terminal. Reversed polarity on a coil can cause problems like those you
have observed. (Not always, but sometimes.)
Blake
P.S. Thank you.
